In celebration of the YMCA Owen Sound Grey Bruce 10th Anniversary at 700 10th St E, we are pleased to announce The Art Draw, a local art fundraiser and 50/50 Draw to support the purchase of accessible fitness equipment for our Health, Fitness and Aquatics Centre.

Cause

The proceeds raised from our art and 50/50 draw will be used to purchase accessible equipment for our Health, Fitness and Aquatics Centre. As a charity that is dedicated to building healthy, strong and connected communities we continue to work towards improving access to spaces and specifically enabling our populations with disabilities and special needs to participate in programming. Removing barriers and increasing access to our facility will help improve the wellbeing of our community through health, fitness and recreation programming. The purchase of accessible fitness equipment solutions such as strength training equipment specialized for wheelchairs will enable this population to live a more active lifestyle. The YMCA of Owen Sound Grey Bruce will be the only recreation and fitness facility in Grey Bruce to offer these solutions. Raising these funds to purchase this equipment will enable the YMCA to better fulfill our mission to be an inclusive community where everyone truly belongs.
